Section Drawing Generation in AutoCAD

Steps to be followed:

1. Open the File into AutoCAD interface
2.  Write plan command in the command bar
3. Go to Section Plane Tool in the AutoCAD Ribbon bar  or command:  “sectionplane”
4. Draw the Section Plane by clicking one point and then another.
5. Select the  Section Plane line
6. After selecting the Section Line press right click and select the option Generate 2D/3D section
7. Then open a new Dialog Box (Generate Section/Elevation) in your screen for  your customization
8. You can change Section Setting according to your requirements
9. Click on the “Create” Tab to get you  2D Section drawing
10. Then insert it (Section Drawing as a block) in current workspace by clicking a point on it.
11. You can change the Base point, Scale, X/Y/Z and Rotate according to your requirement.
